Overview
The Horizontal WindWall® (HWW) is a smaller, modular unit designed for wider applications at a lower cost. It captures wind from up to 80 degrees off-azimuth and removes the need for gearing and maintenance, making it ideal for parking structures, canyons, and waterfront applications. The HWW has no gearbox or wear and tear parts, making it a financially attractive and low-maintenance solution for smaller applications.

The Horizontal WindWall® was developed to be a smaller modular unit that benefits from the accumulative surface effects of capturing wind, but in a simpler, smaller and less expensive package.

Mono-directional wind capture
The HWW® is designed to capture wind up to 80 degrees off-azimuth, sufficient for most locations without the added expense of rotational capability. The HWW® is simply placed to capture the prevailing wind. Created to be used in places where wind comes from a singular direction such as parking structures, canyons, beach housing, the HWW® removes the need for gearing and other wear and tear parts. (Designed for simplicity and sturdiness, an optional yaw capability is available for shifting wind patterns.)
No gear box
Removing an integrated gearbox to change unit orientation reduces cost & maintenance required (No oil, no grease, and no wear and tear).
Designed specifically for smaller applications
The HWW® is designed for simplicity and universal appeal, with a smaller footprint than most HVAC systems, suitable for rooftop and similar confined areas where its small high-efficient design replaces the majority of demand currently met by diesel generators or locations with solar.
